Need Help Paying for Internet?

If you need internet access for work, school, job seeking, or accessing services, we may be able to help. This program is open to people who live in the greater KC region.* It can help you:

  • Find affordable internet service

  • Pay for your monthly internet bill for six months

  • Pay off an old balance

  • Get caught up on your current internet service

* The IASP is open to residents of Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte, and Ray counties in Missouri, and Johnson, Miami, Leavenworth, and Wyandotte counties in Kansas

Available to low-income households

Assistance through this program is primarily intended for households with limited incomes and particularly those who have suffered a loss of income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, support may only be available to those who meet certain income limits (see table below), or those who participate in federal assistance programs like SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, or public housing assistance.

However, even for households who do not qualify for direct benefits and subsidies, IASP may be able to help individuals better understand their internet bills and discover ways of lowering their costs through negotiation, cord cutting, or other strategies.
